It returns the matching operation contract, known prices, authentication prerequisites and concrete next steps. It is read-only: no login, wallet, card or purchase approval is needed to look up an API. It never executes a sale. Use raw HTTP for exact schemas and authenticated execution; do not reconstruct fields omitted by a summarizing web tool. Each image tool returns an `id` and an `output_url` that links to the result. The generator's tiers are `hd`, `genius`, and `super_genius`. Twenty hd drafts cost $0.20. Re-rendering the best one at super genius adds $0.25, and removing its background adds $0.01, so the finished image costs $0.46 in total. A 5-second hd video costs $1.00. Read the price at call time instead of caching it. --- ## How to buy and call DeepAI from your agent 1. Point your agent at the [DeepAI storefront](https://deepai.pay.zeroclick.io). Its [agent guide](https://deepai.pay.zeroclick.io/llms.txt) points to the API catalog, the list of services, and the payment instructions. 2. Match the task to a service and path from the table above, or ask the free task guide at `https://deepai.pay.zeroclick.io/zeroclick/agent/guide?goal=URL_ENCODED_TASK`. This endpoint needs no wallet and never buys anything. 3. Send the request to the storefront with the path and JSON body from the API reference and no payment header. The storefront prices it and answers with a 402. 4. Check the 402's `payment.amountUsd` against your budget before you pay. 5. Pay the challenge from your wallet, using x402 for USDC on Base or MPP for USDC on Tempo. 6. Retry the identical request, byte for byte, with the payment proof attached. The payment is bound to the body of the request it priced. 7. Read `output_url` from the response and download or pass on the image. For video, poll `GET /video-api/status/{id}` with the job id until the job completes, then download it within an hour. --- ## Example requests Send the unpaid request first. A `zc-billing` header comes with it and reconciles `authorizedUsd` against `chargedUsd`: ```json {"id": "", "output_url": ""} ``` --- ## If your agent has no wallet Your agent has four options: - **Create a wallet.** Your agent can set one up itself, free and without signing up, then follow the steps above. - **Pay a single call by card.** Card works for any pay-as-you-go call of $0.50 or more, so it does not cover a one-cent image. Follow the card block in the 402, POST to its `payUrl`, and retry the call with the `zc-payment-id` header. The hosted checkout supports browser agents with Link Pay Tokens. If your agent cannot complete it, send the checkout URL to your human. Register a free agent credential with the [identity guide](https://deepai.pay.zeroclick.io/auth.md), then send `POST /plans/{planId}/purchase` with `Authorization: Bearer `, `checkout: true`, and an amount of at least $0.50. The Credits plan's id and `purchase.url` are in the price list. A $25 balance, sent as `{ "amountUsd": "25.000000" }`, covers 2,500 hd images. Use `POST /extend` to top it up. - **Hand off to a human.** Share any DeepAI page as `https://deepai.pay.zeroclick.io/outclick?url={URL-encoded seller page}` so the referral is recorded. --- ## What to know **What the storefront covers.** It sells the eight services listed above. The subscription prices on deepai.org are a separate channel for people. Use the storefront's own quote for agent pricing. **Photo editor tiers.** The catalog also lists an hd rate for the photo editor, but its request schema accepts only `genius` or `super_genius` for `image_generator_version`. In practice an edit starts at $0.08. **Video limits.** A video runs 5 to 15 seconds. A prompt can be up to 3,000 characters. For image to video, send the source as a public URL or a base64 data URL of up to about 7.5 MB. Leave `shape` as `auto` in hollywood mode. **What is charged, and when.** Each pay-as-you-go call is one 402 and one charge. Paying it completes the purchase under ZeroClick's buyer terms. Video is billed on the seconds you request. Polling the video status endpoint is free. A delivered response without a `zc-billing` header billed nothing. A payment or an HTTP 202 does not mean the job is done, so check that the output arrived. Once a paid call reaches DeepAI, your agent receives DeepAI's own status code and body. **Errors worth handling.** The [error reference](https://deepai.pay.zeroclick.io/errors.md) lists every code. Get a new 402 for this request and pay that. | | `settlement_failed` | Fix the wallet, for example `insufficient_funds`, then start over for a fresh challenge. | | `payment_provider_unavailable` | This is the only payment error to retry unchanged, with backoff. | | `payment_consumed` | The payment was already settled. Check the original request's delivery before paying again. | | `bearer_required` (401) | Plan purchases need a registered agent credential. Register one, then retry with the bearer. | | `usage_exhausted` | The Credits balance ran out. Top up with `POST /extend`. | --- ## Frequently asked questions ### Does DeepAI need an API key for AI agents? No. Through the ZeroClick storefront, your agent pays each request with a signed payment, which also serves as its identity. No signup or API key is needed. ### How much does DeepAI cost per image? Image generation costs $0.01 at hd, $0.08 at genius, and $0.25 at super genius 2K. Background removal, colorization, and super resolution cost $0.01 per image.
