## Introduction

Most people know AEO (Answer/Agent Engine Optimization): the SEO-like tactics that get your product discovered and cited by AI. As more queries with economic value shift from search to AI chat, AEO is a fast-growing area of interest.

Today, AEO mostly means an AI recommends something to a human, and the human acts manually. But busy people optimize for efficiency. They will increasingly ask their agent to complete the task. They will also entrust agents to run longer, more complex tasks on their own.

In practice: when Codex recommends MotherDuck for data analytics, you reply "great, choose the best plan and set it up in my project." Or a sub-agent on your growth team sends you an end-of-day update: "I subscribed to the starter plan for MotherDuck at $19/mo for the data analytics to track the launch of our updated Agent Magnet product."

AEO brings your business into the awareness of agents. ZeroClick optimizes your site so an agent knows how to navigate the desired paths and achieve full outcomes. That falls into three questions:

- Can an agent navigate your site to find the information it needs?
- Can it understand how to execute outcomes?
- Can it actually execute those outcomes?

Some of those outcomes are non-transactional, such as booking a demo. While you read this, you can tell your Claude to "book a demo for me at [zeroclick.ai](https://zeroclick.ai/)."

Most companies' web presence is optimized for humans, including pricing plans and subscription structures. ZeroClick provides a suite of tools that lets companies become fully optimized for agents: from helping agents navigate your site to completing a purchase without human intervention, directly from your existing API endpoints.

Bold prediction: as AI models get better at recommending "the best product" for a given need, a major factor in that decision will be whether a product is agent-friendly, agent-purchasable, and completable with minimum friction. Companies focused on this now will be rewarded. You will not just appear in the answer; the agent will carry out the next steps toward onboarding the user as a paying customer.

**TL;DR**

- Agents can now pay by card from ZeroClick Agent Storefronts. Every purchase is tied to an identity the buyer keeps, so a credit balance or subscription outlives the chat session it was bought in.
- If a human needs to be in the loop, Agent Storefronts can pull agents in from your own website and hand them back to a human with attribution.
- Agent Analytics are live: see what kinds of AI agents visit your site and what they do.
- You can sell accounts and API keys, not just single calls. Complex SaaS products can be made agent-purchasable and agent-managed.
- The new implementation wizard makes onboarding fast. Getting to your first paid agent request takes no more than a morning.
- Buy with AI is live: sellers can embed a widget that hands off a purchase flow to the user's AI of choice, including Claude, ChatGPT, and others.
- Updated Agent Magnet: a free tool for ZeroClick customers that converts all your website pages to markdown for agents that visit your site.

## Agents can now pay by card, and maintain durable identity

Until this summer, buying from an Agent Storefront required a funded wallet paying USDC over x402 or MPP, one request at a time. That works for agents that arrive with a wallet. Most don't. They show up wanting to buy, hit a payment step they cannot clear, and hand the job back to their human.

Since August 11, every ZeroClick Agent Storefront accepts cards in two ways:

- **Human in the loop:** The agent registers with the Agent Storefront, starts the purchase, and hands its human a checkout page hosted by Stripe and branded for the seller. Payment options: card, Link, Apple Pay, or bank account.
- **Agent holds a card:** The agent tokenizes the card number directly with Stripe and completes the purchase on its own. The card number never touches ZeroClick.

Every Agent Storefront now also hands an agent a credential when it registers, and lets its human claim it later on a page on the seller's own domain, with a code sent by email. Claim it, and everything the agent bought is tied to a person rather than a session, so any agent that person runs can pick up the balance. Don't claim it, and the purchase still works. Buy first, identify after. The same credential works at every Agent Storefront on the network. An agent that already has a Zero identity can use it across ZeroClick Agent Storefronts with a single consent step.

> Note: verify with Spencer whether card checkout is shipped for all sellers or in preview.

A test run used a fresh [claude.ai](https://claude.ai) session with no tools installed and one prompt: "Go to websiteX and help me buy $1 in credit." Claude found the Agent Storefront through the site, read the catalog, found the free trial, generated three images on it, and produced a checkout link for the dollar. Then it paused. "Don't click yet," it said. "The credit binds to the agent identity, not the card." It asked for an email to claim the credential first. Nothing in that flow was special-cased for Claude. It read the same pages any agent reads.

Card checkout has a $0.50 minimum, so credits and plans are its natural fit. Pay-per-request over x402 (USDC on Base) and MPP (Stripe's Machine Payments Protocol, USDC on Tempo) is unchanged and starts at one cent.

## Agent Magnets: from your website to your Agent Storefront, and back to a human when it counts

Agents find your Agent Storefront through your website. They read your pages the way a crawler does: raw HTML, top to bottom, no JavaScript. The Agent Magnet is deliberately plain. It is a small block you add to your site:

- A link tag in the head
- A callout only agents see
- A badge
- A pointer in your llms.txt

Each element is stamped so your Agent Storefront records which pointer routed each agent. Most sellers run the Agent Storefront on their own subdomain, because agents click through to a domain they recognize. ZeroClick lists every Agent Storefront on the indexes agents search: [zero.xyz](https://zero.xyz/), agentic.market, x402scan, and mppscan.

Guide: [Enable agent traffic](https://docs.zeroclick.ai/website/enable-agent-traffic)

New this summer: hand-off links. When the right next step requires a person (approving a purchase, creating an account, adding a card), the Agent Storefront tells the agent to hand its human a ZeroClick link instead of a raw URL. The link opens your page with attribution attached, so you can see that a conversion started with an agent even though a person finished it. Seven steps become two: the agent prepares everything, the human just says yes.

> "We can now tell, in your analytics, when an agent handed a person something to act on, and whether the person opened it or another agent did." - Palmer

## Agent Analytics: what you can see today

The dashboard was rebuilt around your store. Each Agent Storefront shows:

- Revenue, transactions, success rate, and average transaction value
- A full transaction log split by payment method
- Revenue by meter
- Plans with daily and weekly usage caps
- Where your Agent Storefront is listed

The agent-traffic view shows:

- Which agents visited your site: agent type, originating platform, and more
- The path agents took
- Which services they browsed
- Which agents bought, handed off, or left
- Coming soon: inferred intent

The traffic view matters more than the revenue chart, because most agents arriving at a business today don't have money. Once an agent is on your Agent Storefront, three outcomes are possible: a sale, a lead (an agent that identifies itself, starts a free trial, or books a demo), or a hand-off you can attribute. Two of those three create value before agents have wallets.

## Sell accounts and API keys, not just calls

Pay-per-request suits an image, a lookup, or a batch of tokens. A lot of software is sold as an account, a plan, and an API key the customer keeps using. This summer, ZeroClick added support for that shape.

The flow:

1. A buying agent purchases a plan through your Agent Storefront.
2. ZeroClick calls your service to create the account.
3. The agent requests a key, and your service issues one. Issuing the key is a separate step on purpose, so the agent treats it as a secret.
4. When the balance runs out, the agent is pointed back to the Agent Storefront to top up, and returns to the same account.

In the demo that started this work, an agent bought a month of hosting for sixty cents, deployed an app with the key it was issued, hit the limit, topped up, and kept going.

Selling accounts is an Agent Storefront-level setting. To enable it today, email [help@zeroclick.ai](mailto:help@zeroclick.ai). The integration is one HTTPS endpoint.

Documentation: [Sell accounts and API keys](https://docs.zeroclick.ai/integrate/stateful-sellers)

Plans also got richer: pay as you go, credits, a subscription, a subscription with included usage, or a free trial. You can require a claimed agent with a verified email before a trial starts. Paying transactions are never gated on identity. Always take the money.

## Getting live takes a morning (less if you use the Agent integration path)

The dashboard now opens with an implementation wizard. ZeroClick sets up your store, services, and pricing from your API reference and pricing page. You complete four steps:

1. The billing guard
2. The agent-traffic snippet
3. Your Stripe connection
4. An optional custom domain

Every step has a manual path and an agent-guided one: copy a prompt, paste it to your coding agent, let it walk you through, then verify. A sandbox runs real x402 and MPP calls against your API on a test network before anything goes live.

The billing guard is one middleware call. Seller SDKs are available for [TypeScript, Python, Go, and Ruby](https://docs.zeroclick.ai/sdks/overview), plus a community PHP SDK, or plain HTTP: two API calls, one signature check, three fixed responses.

Documentation: [docs.zeroclick.ai](https://docs.zeroclick.ai/), with a quickstart that serves a first paid agent request in about ten minutes. DubbleBlack went from the docs to a live Agent Storefront in about a day, on their own.

> "I'm most excited about 'integrate with your agent' as the primary path: copy and paste this and let your agent walk you through it. I think that's the future of how products like this get set up." - Brian

## Also new

- **New:** [AI Purchase Trends](https://zeroclick.ai/trends), a public page with live agent-payment data. The automated-versus-human traffic split refreshes hourly; the on-chain x402 and MPP figures refresh daily.
- **New:** An agent-readiness scorecard for your site. ZeroClick runs an agent against your pages and returns a shareable report of what it could find, read, and buy, with a comparison against a competitor. Ask for yours.
- **New:** Structured data (JSON-LD) on every Agent Storefront, for agents that read schema before prose.
- **New:** Choose your payout country when you connect Stripe, for sellers outside the US.
- **New:** Zero-dollar purchases, letting agents access identity-protected resources.
- **New:** Optional end-to-end encrypted request and response bodies. ZeroClick prices, pays, and routes the call without holding the plaintext.
- **Improved:** Every purchase is a single 402 challenge, so stock x402 and MPP clients work with ZeroClick Agent Storefronts unmodified.
- **Improved:** A redesigned Agent Storefront, with plan cards that show included credit in your own units.
- **Improved:** The agent-traffic view in the dashboard: which agents visited, converted, handed off, or paid.
- **New:** A "Buy with AI" option for your own pages, so a person can hand your Agent Storefront to their agent with one click.
- **New:** Free trials agents can claim on their own, with the identity work above keeping them honest.
